Hemingway’s Paris tour : “I felt I was with Hemingway”

It was absolutely amazing – Danny, the actor made me feel like I was with Hemingway, sitting in chairs describing his life, wandering to his favourite places and apartment. I couldn’t recommend this more! Thanks Danny it was a magical afternoon.

I had the pleasure of discovering the Dark Legends of Paris with a passionate and captivating actor. The tour was as enriching as it was intriguing, combining mystery, poetry and surprising anecdotes. An immersive and well-paced experience, ideal for rediscovering Paris from a new angle. I highly recommend this tour to all history buffs and thrill seekers!

Joan of Arc tour – Rouen : “She brought us totally into the history of her life”

My husband and I were both extremely impressed by this tour guide.. This young lady was a tremeduous actrice and was sincere in her role as Joan. She brought us totally into the history of her life and the unbelievable hardships and dangers that she lived on a daily basis. It was just as if we were hearing the story from Joan herself even to the sadness of her death.

Dark Legends of Notre Dame & medieval Paris told by Edgar Allan Poe : “Very original and interesting”

We took a guided tour of Paris with an artist who played the role of the writer Edgar Allan Poe. It was very original and interesting thanks to his comments and anecdotes. We really enjoyed the tour 🙂

Rebellious Marseille tour : “The actress was excellent, funny and touching at the same time”

I really enjoyed this theatrical tour of Marseille. The actress (Roxanne) was excellent, funny and touching at the same time. You rediscover the city in a different way, with its stories, little anecdotes and lots of charm. A lively, original and frankly very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it!

Jeanne knew a lot about Jeanne! At some moment there was a tear in her eye. That moment she wasn’t an actor but Jeanne.

This was a fun tour. We went around Paris and learned about the Nazi occupation and the French resistance. Its a great mix to learn about history in a unique perspective and I recommend it if you want something both educationnal and fun to do in Paris.

Joan of Arc tour – Rouen : “What a wonderful way to be part of the story of Jeanne d’Arc”

What a wonderful way to both see some important sections & monuments of Rouen & to be “part of” the story of Jeanne d’Arc with our own Jeanne in character as a guide. Hélène brought the character & the events to life along our walk; time passed very quickly; We were impressed with the depth of information, & knowing the basics of the Jeanne story, it was surprising to feel so emotional about her experiences; entirely due to our guide’s depiction of them. This is a great way to tour parts of Rouen, especially when some of its history is so tied up with the story of Jeanne. It is well paced so that it can accomodate all ages. Thank you for a colourful & interesting tour.

Joan was amazing! This walking tour was everything I wanted. Tour of the town given by Joan with her story woven into the sights. Very entertaining and informative. 

Revolutionary Lyon tour : “Absolutely fabulous”

I would like to thank Mr Ampère for this absolutely fabulous tour. He took us on a journey through the dark history of Lyon in 1793. You would have thought he had lived through it himself. I hope that everyone interested in history will have the opportunity to attend one of his shows. Congratulations!

Our guide/actress/Joan de Arc was very good. She told her story with wonderfully descriptive language and conviction. All our questions were answered with fine detail. The walk took us by a beautiful church and cathedral and an awesome shopping district!
